Hmmmmm, Candy Bar Gift!

Yum!  A great gift for a chocolate-lover!  This package neatly holds a 1.55 oz bar of Hershey's Chocolate!

It's easy to make with the Envelope Punch Board!  Just take a 7-1/2" square of cardstock, score at 2-1/4" and 2-3/4", rotate 180 degrees and repeat, and then to score the opposite sides, line up those score marks with the score marker and score.  Cut out small triangles at the score intersections and fold.  Trim long flaps to fit.

Vivid Vases

I really like the single stamp, Vivid Vases, from the Occasions catalog:

It is just one stamp, but if you want, you can do what I do and that is to cut the words off and mount them on the end of block (it will just fit).  Then, if you want to stamp with the words, you can stick in on the block while you need it and then back on the end.

January Techniques Class

At the January Techniques Class, you will learn:

Kisses to Share

The other day I showed you an expensive project.  Today I want to show you a simple, quick, and inexpensive one - just stamp images, punch with a 3/4" circle punch, and stick on the bottom of Hershey kisses!  I had fun looking through my stamps for the right size - I used  A Round Array, Zoo Babies, Bug Me, and A Fitting Occasion, but I think my favorite was the heart in Kind & Cosy - just the right size!

 

The Most Expensive 3x3 Card

I love to make cute little 3x3 cards - you start with a 3" x 6" piece of card stock, fold in half, and decorate.  If you are using 12x12 paper, you can get 8 from one sheet.  I am participating in a swap of 3x3 cards and designed this little cutie:

Usually, when I make a card, I use only 1 or 2 stamp sets, but for this card, I used THREE!  And FIVE ink pads!  Here's what I used:

Happy Watercolor

I have been remiss in posting lately... I didn't intend to take off the month of December, but I think that's what happened.  Let me see if I can make it up to you!

At our Founder's Circle retreat back in September, we were given some products from what is now the Occasions catalog, including the Happy Watercolor stamp set.

This is a fun set to use because you can just stamp the flowers or you can use them as a base for some wonderful watercoloring. 

And to make it even more fun, there is a coordinating Designer Series Paper, Watercolor Wonder, that is so pretty that you hardly have to stamp at all!

Now, as much as I love this stamp set, I will say that it is very difficult to get all the wood-mounted stamps back in the box.  So much so, that I created a cheat sheet.  You should print this and keep it in your stamp box (that's) what I did!
