Recipe Card Swap, Month 2

Last month, I shared a recipe card that I made for a swap that I am in.  This month, the theme was Soups and Salads.  I had made this Southwestern Cobb Salad before and it was a bit hit.  Bonus: it's carb-friendly!

I used My Digital Studio to make a background that is a photo of what the salad looks like, and then I stamped an old friend from the long-retired Definately Decorative Southwest stamp set.  I made the "ink pad" using Cut n Dry and 3 Stampin' Up! re-inkers (Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, and Cherry Cobbler).  What do you think?  Leave a comment if you think you might make this salad for your next get-together!

June Stamp Club - Sneak Peek!

Here are the projects we will be doing this month at Stamp Club - 2 cards and a cute box!  In case you are confused by stamp club, let me answer some of your questions:

Question: What is my end of the bargain?
Answer: As a Stamp Club member, you agree to purchase at least $25 in catalog product each month for the length of the club period (six to eight months).

Question: What do I get?
Answer: As a Stamp Club member, you will earn the Hostess Benefits during one of the months.  Typically, Stamp Club hostesses choose $50 to $65 worth of catalog product, sometimes more.  In addition, you can attend a free Stamp Club meeting (class) each month.

Question: Do I have to attend the meetings?
Answer: No, meetings are optional, but they are fun and you get to share your love of stamping with others.

Question: What if I live out of town or too far for me to drive?
Answer: If that is the case, then you should consider my Virtual Club.  Each month, you place your order online and in exchange, you get lefetime access to my videos that walk you through the projects.

Easy Thank You Card

My dear daughter bought me this adorable board for Christmas.  Designed to hang children's artwork, Jacqui thought it would be a nice addition to my studio.  She was right!  I love it and finally got it hanging on the wall.  I hope to bring you one or more new projects each week on this sign.

This week, I wanted to make a stack of quick thank you cards to use when people ordered my Catalog Tabs.  I found a really cute card online (sorry, can't remember where) and modified it a bit.

Here is what I used:

Catalog Tabs - To Find Your Way!

I like to add tabs to my catalog so that I can find what I am looking for quickly.  So many of my customers like them that I decided to make a video that shows just how I do it.

You can make your own tabs, or, if you would rather, you can get a pdf file ready for printing on a full-size label sheet.  You could even print them on card stock and use glue to attach them, but the labels make it really easy.  If you want to make it even easier, I will print and punch your tabs for you and you can add them to your catalog.  The choice is yours!
