The New Catalog is Here!!

You can start ordering from the new 2013/2014 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog today!  That is 11:00 am on the West Coast, 12:00 noon in the Mountains, 1:00 pm in the middle (that would be Texas!), and 2:00 pm on the East Coast.

Just to sweeten the post, Stampin' Up! has put 3 of our favorite word stamps on sale at 25%.  I will tell you that in my nearly 20 years as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, they have NEVER had a discount at the same time as a new catalog launch!  Check it out at my online store, but remember, you can't start ordering until the times listed above.

Don't Forget - Open House!

Cruisin' with Stampin' Up!

Psst... yeah, you!  Look at my blog page on the left hand side - just under the picture of me with the giant roller wheel.  See that globe that says Grand Vacation?  Yep!  I qualified for our incentive trip which is going to be a Royal Caribbean cruise of the Western Caribbean in May, 2014.  I am very excited about it - the Allure of the Seas is the one you see in the TV commercials with a 120-foot zip line ON THE SHIP!  OMG!  How cool is that!  I've got a whole year to wait - and a whole year to get this old body in better bathing suit shape!  Wish me luck!

Tool Tip - Bone Folder

I love my bone folder (some of my stampers call it a boner, but we won't EVEN go there! LOL!).

Here are some of the things you can do with it:

• Smooth creases when you fold card stock
• Score a straight line when you use a ruler
• Score a curved line if you have a steady hand
• Flatten the prongs of a brad (place flat on prongs and push firmly)

Recipe Card Swap

I wanted to share a fun project that I am involved with, but first, a little back story... I have a small booth at Alamo Craft Company in San Antonio (near Ingram Mall) and I go to a monthly craft class there.  Last month, one of the attendees at the craft class (she is a vendor, too), asked if there was interest in a monthly recipe swap.  Sounded like fun to me, so I signed up.  The first month's theme was Appetizers, so I made my favorite, Cowboy Caviar.  The 10 of us each brought our dish plus 6x6 recipe cards for each of the 10 players.  Here's mine:

The schedule is laid out for 8 months, and if everyone stays in, at the end, I will have 80 recipes on 6x6 pages!  That's a LOT of recipes!  I'm thinking of scanning them and creating a digital book.  I'll keep you posted.  In the meantime, you might want to put together a recipe swap with YOUR friends!

Don't be Left in the Dark!

New In-Colors!

Mystery Hostess - Get the Benefits!

When I checked my mailbox (my real mailbox, not my email) on Saturday, there was a bill from the IRS.  Apparently, I made a mistake on my 2011 taxes and now they want more money.  Alot of money.  So rather than have a garage sale, I thought I would have a Mystery Hostess Workshop instead!  Everyone that orders will get a least one ticket towards hostess benefits from the party. 

It's really easy and you don't even have to live near me to participate!

Here is what you do:

1. Go to my Online Stampin' Up! store and do your shopping.  After you place your first item in your Shopping Bag, you will see a box at the bottom to enter a hostess code.  Enter YVYVTE7S in the box and click "Apply".
2. Now just continue shopping and when you have completed your order, it will shipping directly to you!
3. I will receive an email that you have ordered and you will earn 1  ticket for ordering, PLUS 1 additional ticket for each $25 you order (before shipping and tax).  So, for example, if you order $24.95, you will receive 1 ticket and if you order $51.90, you will receive 3 tickets.
4. One week from today, on May 21 st, I will close out the workshop and determine how many winners there are based on the party total.  There will be at least one and there could be more.  Winners will receive free product of their choice and/or the ability to purchase an item at half price. If you are a winner, I will contact you by email or phone to find out what you would like to select.  Prizes will be mailed to you at no expense to you.
5. If you are placing an order of $150 or more, you should not enter the Hostess Code as described in Step 1, because you will be able to select your OWN Stamping Rewards (hostess benefits)
